Land van Yemaya is so beautiful..! It’s quiet, the nature is fantastic and with a bit of luck you’ll spot a squirrel or a roe deer. All buildings are new and beautifully designed. With big oak tables, thick beams and even a living coat rack. So grateful to be here and enjoy the sauna, swimming pond and the connection with all the wonderful people who were there.
I joined the silence retreat from Jan 30 to Feb 2, 2020. I can recommend this retreat to anyone who wants to slow down and needs time for themselves. It is a beautiful place in nature, with great guidance from Marije and Frits, delicious vegetarian food and plenty of space to simply be and follow your own flow.
I’ve been able to enjoy Land van Yemaya several times with a wonderful group of people. A lovely place, facilitated well and pleasantly down to the details. This beautiful place gives you a feeling of coming home. The peace, the nature, the sauna, the swimming pond, the lovely people. I’ve experienced twice during a gathering how great this place is. My feeling says it won’t be my last time, because there are also many beautiful retreats and other events that match my interests. A wonderfully beautiful estate where a pleasant, serene calm reigns. The Yemaya team truly does everything to make everyone feel at home. The accommodations, such as the temple, are beautifully furnished and equipped with an excellent sound system. The kitchen also leaves little to be desired, of course depending on the chef you bring. If you want to plan a retreat or other event, definitely consider the Land van Yemaya estate.
An oasis in the Groningen landscape. It’s as if the entire estate breathes peace and meaning. Here you can come home and broaden your view. For me, this is the place for my retreats.
